Sound knowledge of structured software development techniques including requirements analysis, documentation, functional decomposition, modeling, prototyping, functional design, estimating and testing. Familiarity with modern software architectures and development techniques. Good organisation, planning and time management skills with effective communication. Excellent leadership qualities (Implement team spirit, shared vision and goals and people development).

Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work well in a dynamic environment and multi-task (short delivery timescales; an evolutionary business with changing requirements and priorities; interaction with business users and other technology teams etc.). Strong personal ownership and commitment to quality. Willing to contribute and speak up with a view or opinion, and add value by questioning and probing where necessary to ensure a thorough and robust solution at each stage in the project lifecycle.
