Senior Quality Engineer - Automation

Job Description

Attend daily stand ups, weekly planning meetings and other Agile ceremonies.
Interact with product management and development teams to develop a strong
understanding of requirements and testing objectives
Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.
Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases
Create and maintain an automation test framework and test cases for functional and
regression test execution
Develop and lead the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated
testing cycles using Selenium
The document,track and escalate issues as appropriate, using defect tracking systems or similar
tools/means

Job Requirements

Must have at least 4+ years of experience in automation.
Strong commitment to best practices in SQE and software development, including modern
Continuous Integration (CI) processes and automating everything vision.
Strong knowledge of current quality engineering and test automation tools and processes,
including JUnit, Jenkins, Selenium
Experience with developing maintainable test automation procedures and practices
Strong Java development skills, able to read and write Java code productively and
Selenium/Web driver are required
Strong knowledge of API-level client/server testing in Java, not just Web Services testing
Experience in testing J2EE based application
Strong SQL query knowledge— Oracle is preferred
Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies
Exposure on builds and deployments tools like Jenkins
Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively both
independently and as part of a team

Good documentations skills to record test cases
Develop and lead the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated
testing cycles using Selenium
Should have done automation testing for 2 project or automation experience for 12months
Document,track and escalate issues as appropriate, using defecttracking systems or similar
